Peace Out East is an annual gathering of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender hip-hop artists, activists, fans and supporters in New York City to celebrate the LGBT presence in hip-hop music and culture, produced by Phat Family Records. The festival takes place in late July and features live music, DJs, spoken word, dance and art events. Now in its second year, Peace Out East will feature the work of independent LGBT hip-hop artists from throughout the northeastern U.S. and beyond.

  The goal of Peace Out East is to carry on that tradition on the East Coast and showcase the pioneering work of Homo Hop artists in hip-hop's birthplace.

PeaceOutNorthwest is a sister festival in development by DJ Puppet of the Booty crew and jumps of for the PeaceOutNorthwest is regionally focused and draws from a similar scene that the original PeaceOUT festival does and will feature local (Flavor Kelly, the Sissyboys) and more nationally recognized  artists(deadlee, Katastrophe, Deep Dickollective,soce' the elemental wizard) at this years event. PeaceOutUK (London) celebrated its second year in 2006 and is organized by GayHipHop.com founder DJ MisterMaker and local MC QBoy. Artists from the United Kingdom and across Europe have performed and attended this wildly popular event. Peep peaceoutuk.com for more details.
